Domestic Dreamland

I'm having house envy today after seeing this kitchen. With a place for everything, this cream and black kitchen is the stuff of dreams {if you are an obsessor of all things kitchen like me}.  The colors used in this kitchen work really well for showcasing the food.

I love how elegant everything looks just by putting things on display.

Fashion to Furnishings

I often see a look or an outfit that makes me think of a similarly styled space. I apologize for all of the navy, as I have been crushing on navy lately, this look instantly made me think of a classy tailored space.

The Finishing Touches

It truly is all of the personal items and family heirlooms that make a space personal to you. I am a firm believer in the idea that a space should reflect the people living in it. Yes the gorgeous spaces in Architectural Digest are amazing to look at and I would only be so lucky to call one of those spaces home. But if you look closely, a lot are devoid of personal object, pictures, or life. Who wants to live a magazine {not me anyway}

Something New

bathcart

I have an interesting space for you done by designer Laura Bohn. I think its unique and certainly inventive with an industrial flair.

OK so I have never seen a rolling metal cart as a sink vanity before... Thoughts?

Classic Combinations

Black, white, and cream, a timeless look made effortless by incorporating different textures and finishes. The classic look is set off by perfectly tailored furniture, a pop of orange, and a city of color out the window.

Adore Home

Adore got a peek in Cameo Public Relations newly renovated Manhattan office and I must say it is quite nice. I am loving the over the top uber glam, its girly but in a grown up way.

Room of the Week

I saw this kitchen on COCOCOZY and had to post it. I would move in in an instant, and not just because of the the kitchen, the whole place is super cool don't you think? I know I have been doing a lot of kitchens lately, but what can I say I work for a kitchen and bath design company.

Today's Inspiration

Found some goodies in that ole inspiration folder on my desktop. That is a nickle tiled floor ladies and gents, along with one of the many lovely renderings by Michelle Morelan. I have been doing some apartment fantasy decorating today. I certainly have the artwork covered, although I am working on a new one.

Lust List

This living room picnic tipi is so cute. I want one of these for a dinner date, or just to throw pillows in and make a fort.

Lust List

I’m loving West Elm right now. The combination of all their neutral, highly textured, finishes and the dark colors make a cozy combination. I don’t know if I could do a faux fur pillow, but it all looks inviting and comfy.

Lighting File

Hudson Furniture inc has some interesting lighting. The silver, sparkling chandeliers and lamps with their hard meets soft is very cool. I could see there lighting in any décor.

Room of the Week

I am in love with this kitchen and its from IKEA.

Feeling a Little ........... BLUE

I really like the monochromatic look of this living room. The elements are so textural. Look at the ottoman by Perscentrum Wonen.
